Futuromic Photo AV Sdn Bhd was established in 1994 by Mr. Francis Lai and Mr. P.Y. Lai both, of whom have a combined 70 years’ experience in the business of imaging under their belt. The company first started off by providing photography equipment and expertise. Not content with just being another box shifting dealer, Futuromic aimed to offer a wide range of imaging tools and accessories to suit all customers’ needs.

Futuromic brings to the table, the expertise of their team members, whose knowledge and skills in the business of imaging enables the company to live up to its commitment to provide top-notch after-sales service to their dealers and end-consumers.

The company has grown alongside the industry over the past 15 years and has successfully expanded its business by providing a full suite of quality photographic, AV products and imaging equipment and after sales service and training, all under one roof.

Today, Futuromic is well represented by dealers and resellers nationwide and is able to offer a full suite of products and support through this extensive reseller network.

The company is currently the exclusive distributor of top camera brands in Malaysia like Ricoh, AgfaPhoto and other photography accessories, which include Tamron lenses, Gorillapod, Velbon tripod, Kenko and Protama Filter, Sunpak flash, Cybertik flash, Mitsubishi photo paper, Jenova camera bag and Eureka drybox. The company is also the nationwide distributor for Nikon, JVC AV, Noritsu printer and Sandisk. Futuromic also runs the Nikon Centre Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s first and South East Asia’s largest Nikon Centre located at Berjaya Times Square Mall.
